Macquarie Telecom coverage will be enhanced from 31 August 2009 to cover 94% of the population. To take full advantage of this you require a compatible 3G 900Mhz handset.

Telstra Next G

When coverage is not ideal using Macquarie Telecom coverage can be provided through Telstra's Next G network. This solution requires permanently moving your University mobile service to Telstra Next G. Things to be aware of to use this service are:

• Handsets must be Telstra Next G compatible
• Telstra Business Fleet Select rates and plans apply (currently 40+ mobiles)
• Telstra Mobile Broadband on Next G rates and plans
• Macquarie Telecom family and friends is not available
• Macquarie Telecom first 10 minutes for free is not available
