New Phone InstallationTo install or activate a new telephone line on the University phone system, you will need to fill in a work request form and fax it back to 831 35775 or email it to pabx@adelaide.edu.au All new University phone numbers have local, mobile and STD access activated, please note in the comments if you require a change to this external phone access. Once the Service Desk receives your request form, they will issue an email with a service request number. The request number will allow you to track your request with the Service Desk. You can call the Service Desk on 831 33333 for updates if required. OrderingA work request form must be complicated and all customer information as well as OHS information must be complicated before the service Desk can process your request. Please note incomplete forms will be returned to the submitter. CostsPlease phone the Telephone helpdesk on extn 33333 for a quote on related costs. TimelinesRequests are usually resolved within 14 working days of you receiving an Incident number. New Telstra Phone LineTelstra lines can be ordered for an external company that would not use the University phone system. The University of Adelaide will organise an account with Telstra on behalf of the requesting company. The requesting company will be responsible for the cost of the new phone line and all ongoing cost that relate to the service. The company will receive a phone bill directly from Telstra as per what has been submitted on the request for a New Telstra Phone Line form supplied by the requesting company. There will be a once off charge from the University of Adelaide for our Technician to meet the Telstra technician and run the phone line through to your office OrderingA New Telstra Phone Line Request Form must be completed. All fields are mandatory. The Service Desk will not process your request if there are any incomplete fields. The form will then be returned to the submitter. CostsA standard install of one Telstra phone line by The University of Adelaide is $66.00. Telstra will charge the company direct for their services. TimelinesRequest are usually resolvers within 14 working days of you receiving an Incident number, this is dependent on Telstra availability. |
