Getting Access to Oracle CalendarUsing and sharing electronic diaries is an important aid to productive time management and collaborative processes. It enables you to quickly schedule group meetings at mutually convenient times and check the availability of people and resources while preserving confidentiality. Its success depends heavily on everyone in a workgroup diligently recording appointments and meetings. The University of Adelaide has adopted Oracle's Calendar software as the standard application for electronic diaries and scheduling. TrainingFace to face training in Managing Diaries with Oracle Calendar will be available for those who require it. University staff are encouraged to make use of these free courses. The current training schedule can be viewed in the ITS Training online booking system. Access Request FormAttendance at training is recommended, with access to Calendar enabled after the course. However, access can be provided without training if the applicant acknowledges an awareness of the available training material and the importance of adhering to the recommended preference settings and access rights.
