The R: Drive

The ‘R’ drive is provided as an additional shared network drive for use by areas that need more than the space allocated for their 'S' drive. While the  ‘S’ drive will remain the primary shared network drive, the ‘R’ drive may be used to provide business areas with additional storage customised to unique business requirements.

Customised options may involve low cost storage with infrequent backups, highly redundant storage with frequent backups, or soething in between.   

Using R drive 

R Drive will apear along side the other standard drive letters on your computer.  

All staff will be able to see the R drive and the first level of folders in it, but access to R drive is restricted to business partners who have requested resources that utilise R drive.
