Web VPN Performance Issue |
Issue reported on the performance of the Web VPN Portal when accessing the Home Page or Network storage.
Configuration changes made resolved issue.
There still can be a delay when
-first accessing U: or S: drive (3 seconds)
-first access department level folders (10 seconds)

Send Email Issue |
Issue reported in sending email from VPN service.
Issue impacting hosts using port 25 (un-secured hosts).
Update made to allow this to work.
Note: Users do not need VPN to read or send email remotely, clients should be configured to use secure methods (SSL/TLS port 993 for incoming and StartTLS port 587 for outgoing). These methods allow for email usage without VPN as well as providing improved security.
