Training in the Windows Vista / Office 2007 SOEAn overview session is available to staff who are being upgraded to Vista / Office 2007. The training primarily focuses on the use of Microsoft Office 2007 and what is different from the previous version along with an overview of the new features.
Where: The Council Room is located on the 7th Floor in the Wills Building, North Terrace Campus (you can enter through the Uni plaza – Hughes Building). Format: In general, the Overview runs for 30-40mins followed by time for Q&A. Bookings: You do not need to book but as a courtesy, drop us a line at desktop.excellence@adelaide.edu.au to let us know you plan on attending. Frequently Asked Questions Q. Why aren’t these sessions held in my area? A. Since this Project began we’ve found attendances at training to be low. Along with the administration effort required plus availability of the ITS training team, it is more practical and a better use of resources to schedule a fixed room and time on a weekly basis and leave it up to you to attend the session you want. Q. Do I have to attend? A. No, you don’t have to attend but we strongly recommend it. It will bring you up to speed a lot quicker. Q. Is there a Manual? A. Yes After your upgrade, we’ll leave you with a ‘Moving up to Vista/Office 2007 Guide. Q. Is other training available? A. Yes You can contact the ITS Training Team or visit their website for scheduled Microsoft Office related training courses Should you have any queries please contact the Desktop Excellence Team via email at desktop.excellence@adelaide.edu.au |
