In general, when you order a new PC it will be installed with Vista/Office 2007

This is how it works

• Datacom advise the Desktop Excellence team whenever anyone orders a new Computer.
• The DE team will call you to determine what software/peripherals you have and whether they are Vista ready.  We need to confirm:-
  • Your contact details
  • The computer you currently use
  • The peripherals you use
  • The software/applications you require
  • Any other special requirements we need to know about
• In conjunction with you, agree on whether you can go straight to Vista.
• The DE team then advise Datacom and someone from either Datacom or DE will do the installation.

If there is a valid reason you cannot be upgraded to Vista then your request is handled by Datacom in the normal manner.
