Internet QuotaThe University manages access and use of the internet through the allocation of quotas. University funded internet quota is provided for all University IT account holders based on their relationship with the University. Information about quota allocations, and how to acquire more, is detailed below.
Quota period and allowance
The following table provides information on internet quota for all IT Account holders:
Purchasing extra internet quotaStudents can purchase self funded quota at the Student Centre on North Terrace Campus, at the Main Office on Roseworthy Campus or enquire in the WISA office on Waite Campus. The self funded quotas for internet traffic are charged at $0.05 per Mb in various bundles between a minimum of 120Mb for $6 to a maximum of 1Gb for $50. At the end of each quota period any remaining self funded quota is applied to the next period. Self funded quota is not refundable when leaving the University. Monitoring internet usageEach night, internet traffic usage from the previous day is debited against a student's quota and complete transaction records are made available on the SNAP website. Staff can also view their internet usage through this page: http://www.adelaide.edu.au/student/current/snap/
