Information Security at the University of Adelaide

Information Technology Services understands the importance of information security to all members of the University community and is committed to implementing innovative solutions to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of important information at all times.

It is important to report information security incidents to ITS so we can deal with them as soon as possible.

ITS has implemented an email protection system for University staff, students and affiliates against threats to information security that may be present in e-mail. These include computer viruses, nuisance -emails and malicious e-mails.

Staying up to date and informed about the latest security threats helps keep your computer protected.

Antivuris support is offered to all University computers by ITS. It is vital that you keep your computer protected with the latest antivirus program.

It is important to keep your computer updated with the latest patches released by ITS. This is done using the PatchLink system. For more information please follow the link.
