Printing in CATS

• Once a print job disappears from the network print queue and on to the printer hard disk, print accounting has been performed and you will be charged for the print job.
• Deleting the print job from the network print queue will avoid charging.
• If printing is in high demand a print job may stay on the queue for some minutes.

Use of the Printing Facilities

• You are not permitted to use these facilities for personal use. The penalty for misuse is removal of all printing rights for the entire year.
• Your print quota is for required submissions only. It does not cover documentation reproduction (notes, manuals etc.) or draft copies.
• You are permitted to print documentation and any educational material related to your course work but the cost is your responsibility.

Please note: Fiery boxes have been attached to each printer to increase the processing of your prints jobs by up to 70%.
