Exams held in Student Computer Suites

If you are holding an exam in an undergraduate student computer suite, Technology Services can assist you with ensuring students only have access to certain services. You may not require students to access their U drive, or perhaps the internet, as examples.

Please provide at least two weeks' notice so staff resources can be made available at the time of the exam. Once the room has been booked, please email the Service Desk with the information below. By clicking here, the questions will be prepopulated into an email. Once the email is received by Technology Service Desk, a request will be raised into our system and a technician will contact you.


What is the date/s of the exam?
Which room have you booked for the exam? (Building name and room number)
Will the students be logging in with their own student account or will you be requesting a generic login set up for this exam? ***
Do you need to collect printed documents or saved files?
Is the exam online in MyUni?
Should the student have access to the internet? Intranet?
Should the student have access to their home drives (U drive) or any other network drive?
What applications should students have access to?
Is this an open book exam?
How many students are doing the exam?
