Surveys and Technology Services
Surveying staff and student experience with Technology Services is an important part of our continual improvement process. To achieve this we use 3 types of surveys
- Individual Survey
10% of all requests to the Service Desk are sent a satisfaction survey relating to the experience for that individual request. At the end of each month the responses are reviewed and an action plan put in place.
- IT Service Quality Benchmark Survey
Each year Technology Services participates in an annual University IT Service Quality Benchmark. These surveys are conducted by an external company and distributed to staff in Universities across Australia and New Zealand. The results from this survey feed directly into the next years operational plans.
- Vendor Surveys Datacom and Telstra T[life]
The performance of our vendors is very important to Technology Services. From staff ordering computers through Datacom to new Mobile phone distribution from Telstra \ T[life], we survey staff satisfaction with these providers. Each month the results are discussed with our vendor account managers and they are expected to provide us with their improvement plans.
