Effective Use of MyUni

Target Audience

All staff may use the MyUni environment to maintain a course, enter course materials or communicate with students. Although this course is available to all staff, it is orientated toward teaching staff who are already using MyUni for learning and teaching.

Overview

MyUni has been established to provide a framework for online education at the University of Adelaide. MyUni is a web-based software platform that holds an entry for every academic course in addition to other staff development initiatives (such as occupational health and safety education). It provides personalised access for all students and staff at the University of Adelaide. This course provides the opportunity for participants to learn how to use some of the advanced features of MyUni, namely:

  • Discussion boards
  • Quizzes
  • Gradebook
  • Assignments
  • Respondus
  • Learning units.

The course is complemented by the workshops run by the Centre for Learning and Professional Development (CLPD), which focus on appropriate use of these tools in an online learning environment. For more information about MyUni support provided by CLPD, visit http://www.adelaide.edu.au/myuni/
