Microsoft Certified Application Specialist CoursesITS offers general training courses in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook. This is currently available free of charge to University of Adelaide staff and postgraduate students. Training is strongly recommended before assessment is attempted, and we hope that the majority of people who attend training will go on to sit an exam and become a Microsoft Certified Application Specialist in one or more areas. Please read the course outlines to select the appropriate sessions. You don't need to attend all sessions, but please note that each session assumes knowledge of the skills taught in all previous sessions. Therefore, you need to make sure you can perform all the tasks covered in previous sessions if you choose to begin part way through the sequence of modules. Similarly, if you attend more than one session, please attend in the order suggested. Once you have read the course outlines and selected the modules you would like to complete, visit the course schedule and reserve your place. The sample files used in all general Microsoft Office courses are available for download by clicking here. Our licence agreement restricts access to staff and students who have completed the relevant courses. Existing courses that are tailored to the needs of university staff and students and focus on specific tasks - such as using styles and templates in Word or creating charts in Excel - will continue to be provided as needed. For more information, see Face-to-Face Courses. |
