Your Email QuotaEmail is delivered to your mailbox on a central mail server. There is limited space for each user so eventually your mail box will become full if you do not manage your email. You should frequently check the size of your Mailbox and delete messages to keep it well below your quota Your Mailbox QuotaAt the top of your Inbox, there is an accurate measure of how much space you have left in your mailbox: In this example, the mailbox has 40.379Mb of email with a quota of 50Mb ie 80.76% of the available space has been used. You should try to keep your mailbox less than 80% full. Details of email quotas and how to request extensions are available on the ITS quotas web pages. Managing the Size of Your MailboxOne of the best ways to reduce the size of your mailbox is to copy messages which contain attachments to a removable storage device such as a USB or local hard disk drive and then delete the email (and Empty Trash). Please read the section on saving attachments for advice on how to do this. Tips for Managing Your Email Quota
