The eduroam wireless network is a secure world-wide roaming service developed for the international research and education community. It enables users to visit any participating education institution and access network services using login credentials from their home institution. As a world wide service once configured for the first time users should never need to make changes to this configuration when visiting a different institution. In some cases however a VPN may be required to provide the access required.

For University of Adelaide Users

It is highly recommended that users configure and test eduroam before travelling interstate or overseas with the intention of using eduroam. Support at other institutions could vary and the Technology Services Service Desk may not be operating during the hours required. University of South Australia have campuses easily accessible to most UofA users and could be used for testing.

Please visit the eduroam configuration page for guides on setting up this service.
