Staff, students and visitors who travel to other universities can access the eduroam wireless network. Users can log on to the eduroam wireless network using the same username and password they would use if they were at their home institution. eduroam links: For University of Adelaide Staff and StudentsIt is highly recommended that users configure and test eduroam before travelling interstate or overseas with the intention of using eduroam. Support at other institutions could vary and the ITS Service Desk may not be operating during the hours required. University of South Australia has campuses easily accessible to most UofA users, and could be used for testing. For assistance in configuration from ITS please visit the support page for options. Further things to consider- The federation you are visiting must be a participating member of eduroam.

Configuration of eduroam is very similar to what is specified in the UofA guides on the configuration page. There are 2 differences, the SSID is eduroam instead of UofA and your user ID needs to inlcude @adelaide.edu.au (e.g. a1234567@adelaide.edu.au).
