***Please Note*** Any new purchases need pre-approval as the Mac is not the SOE (Standard Operating Environment).

Prior approval needs to be requested from ITS to ensure full support and connection to the University's network.

For approval, please email Tony Cockington tony.cockington@adelaide.edu.au. All requests must contain a valid business reason for purchasing non-standard equipment.

All Macs supplied by Next Byte to the University will come with the following pre-loaded licensed software:

•  McAfee Anti-virus - a prerequisite to access the University network 
• FTP Client
• Office 2004

A Next Byte technician will attend to migrate any user data and setup the Macintosh on the network and ensure access to network resources is complete.
