An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join the Student Services Team, as an Administrative Assistant (Student Services) in the Faculty of Sciences.

As an Administrative Assistant (Student Services) you will be responsible, under general direction, for the provision of general reception and administrative support for the effective functioning of the Faculty of Sciences Office, particularly the Student Services Team. This position also provides back up for the functions of the Executive Assistant to the Executive Dean.

Position Requirements

You should have:

Good communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience liaising with a wide range of stakeholders
Demonstrated administrative ability to manage competing demands in an organised manner
Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite of products
Experience in a reception role, preferably in a tertiary environment
Completion of a relevant Certificate III qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

Salary

Salary: (HEO3) $30,007 - $ 48,868per annum.

Superannuation

Plus an employer superannuation contribution of 17% applies
