The Faculty of the Professions is one of five Faculties at the University of Adelaide. Encompassing five separate Schools, it covers a diverse range of disciplines including Architecture, Business, Economics, Education and Law. Each School is responsible for at least one Undergraduate or Postgraduate program with a strong professional orientation.
As the Development and Alumni Officer you will responsible for the implementation and coordination of the School’s alumni relations and development programs. You will work in close collaboration with the Manager, Alumni Relations and Manager, Fundraising and Development (D&A) and the Faculty Internship and Network Development Manager.
In addition you will be responsible for regular consultation with Schools to identify opportunities and needs to develop suitable advancement and alumni relations strategies. As well as be responsible for the coordination of major School events, development of alumni and donor recognition programs, development of materials and information pertaining to alumni and development strategies, communication with stakeholders and maintenance of alumni web pages and online community content.
Position Requirements
You should have:
- A degree with subsequent and relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in relationship management
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in project management and research
- Demonstrated experience in organising events.
Salary
Salary: (HEO6) $62,155 - $67,300 per annum.
Superannuation
Plus an employer superannuation contribution of 9% applies
Term of Position
This fixed-term position is available from 4th June 2012 to 21st October 2013.
