The Student Centre is a busy customer service centre dealing with enquiries from prospective, current and former students, members of staff and the public. We provide services through a range of different mediums including front counter, telephone, email and the web. Identity Cards for all University staff, students and contractors are also produced and managed in the Student Centre incorporating Card Services, including the application for access to University buildings and transport concessions.

We are seeking an individual with a passion for customer service and a flair for online and digital technologies to join our team. In addition, you will be responsible for answering an extensive range of enquiries regarding academic programs, admissions, as well as administrative processes such as enrolments, examinations and graduations. You will also be responsible for receipting student fees and charges.

Position Requirements

You should have:

  • A post secondary Certificate or Diploma and/or relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to give attention to detail and to manage high volume tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and retain a wide range of information
  • Knowledge and experience with the application and use of online and digital technologies for service provision
  • Knowledge of the higher education sector in Australia and an understanding of the academic programs and organisational structure of Universities

Salary

(HEO4) $46,468 - $51,112 per annum.

Superannuation

An employer superannuation contribution of 9% applies.

Term of Position

This fixed-term position is available immediately for a period of 12 months.
