Professional and Continuing Education (PCE) is a business unit within the University of Adelaide and provides a wide range of programs and services to the local, national and international community. PCE has three business streams: the English Language Centre, Professional Education and Community Programs.

We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced, energetic and vibrant individual into the position of Client Liaison and Facilities Officer. Working under general direction, the Client Liaison & Facilities Officer is responsible for the provision of professional customer and reception service. This position provides general administrative support across PCE including processing enrolments, invoicing and receipting payments, processing mail, maintaining the filing system, data entry, assisting with purchasing processes, assisting PCE’s Associate Director, Marketing, supporting PCE’s Office and Resource Manager and undertaking other general office duties as required. The Client Liaison & Facilities Officer is part of PCE’s Facilities team to provide support to PCE by facilitating course set ups, catering, equipment and other facilities requirements including liaison with consultants, clients, suppliers and other relevant parties.

Position Requirements

You should have:

  • Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service and service improvement
  • Demonstrated professional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Relevant experience in a reception and facilities role
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
  • Competent computing skills including Microsoft Office and relevant systems
  • Experience in cash handling, processing and reconciling of payments
  • Demonstrated fast and accurate data entry skills.

Salary

Salary: (HEO3) $30,007 -  $48,868 per annum. Junior rates apply to those persons 20 years of age and under.

Plus an employer superannuation contribution of 9% applies

Term of Position

This fixed-term position is available immediately for a period of 12 months.
