The University of Adelaide is a leading research intensive and teaching University comprising of five faculties including the Faculty of Health Sciences, which is home to the School of Medicine. The Discipline of Medicine at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital works across many research fields.

CADOSA (Coronary Angiography Database of South Australia) is a project funded by a grant provided by the National Heart Foundation (SA division) The South Australian State Government and The University of Adelaide.  CADOSA is a state-wide registry in which all patients undergoing a coronary angiogram at any of the four major hospitals in Adelaide (RAH, FMC, LMH, TQEH) will be recorded into a multi-site database.

The Research Assistant will assist in the data collection, patient interviews, patient phone calls, data entry and administrative duties. There is a possibility of multiple positions, based across the four major hospital sites with some possible inter-site travel.

Position Requirements

You should have:

  • Experience in dealing with medical research teams and/or coordinating projects
  • High level of interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Prior experience in data collection and data entering
  • Knowledge of Cardiology terminology is essential
  • Post secondary qualifications is desirable.

Salary

Salary: (HEO4) $49,298 - $54,224 per annum.

Plus an employer superannuation contribution of 9% applies

Term of Position

These fixed-term positions are available immediately for a period of 12 months.
