University Academic Committees

A number of formal University Committees contribute to the operation of the Division of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Academic). The terms of reference for each committee are available from this site as well as the agendas, papers and record of meetings for the current calendar year and previous calendar years. Contact details for the Executive Officer for each Committee is also provided.

Indigenous Education and Engagement Committee (IEEC) (Staff only)

The IEEC is an advisory committee chaired by and reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Academic). The IEEC provides advice on matters related to strategic and operational planning across all relevant indigenous education and engagement activities.

Internationalisation Strategy Committee (ISC) (Staff only)

The ISC is an advisory committee chaired by and reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Academic). The ISC provides advice on matters related to strategic and operational planning across all relevant international activities.

Program Approval and Entry Committee (PAEC) (Staff only)

The PAEC is a sub-committee of Academic Board chaired by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Academic). The role of the PAEC is to ensure the quality of the University's educational coursework offerings. The PAEC considers both the academic and resource aspects of significant program development and provides advice to Academic Board.

Quality Enhancement Committee (QEC) (Staff only)

The QEC is a sub-committee of Academic Board chaired by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Academic). The role of the QEC is to provide advice to Academic Board on matters related to quality assurance and improvement across the University.

University Learning Committee (ULC) (Staff only)

The ULC is a sub-committee of Academic Board chaired by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Academic). The role of the ULC is to develop and provide input into learning and teaching strategies and policies. The ULC provides advice to Academic Board on a range of issues and policies dealing with learning and teaching. On behalf of Academic Board, the ULC maintains oversight of the implementation of University policies.
