What to Expect
Undergraduate research is a practice that is growing rapidly in Australia and globally. It prepares you for professional life and changing employment conditions. In addition to this, The University of Adelaide is a research-intensive university that seeks to develop graduates of international distinction by providing high quality education.
BeaCUR will provide you with an excellent opportunity to develop and test your ability to communicate your ideas and findings to the broader community. As well as this, there are excellent prizes available.
Present Your Research
Presenters will have 10 minutes to present their research to a diverse audience, which will include a panel of judges. At the conclusion of the presentation, audience members and judges will have an opportunity to ask questions about the research.
Presenters are encouraged to use PowerPoint slides as an aide. A template is available online [view template gallery].
Presenters will present their research to an audience in a visual format. The images and text should be chosen carefully to highlight the significance of the findings or argument.

BeaCUR provides you with an excellent opportunity to meet staff and students who share a common interest in research, and learn how researchers from other disciplines approach problems.
If you are selected to give an Oral Presentation at BeaCUR you will have an opportunity to attend a workshop run by our very generous BeaCUR 2016 Alumni. They will be volunteering their time to share their BeaCUR experiences as well as tips and tricks on how to approach your Oral Presentation.
