Sessional Teaching: Self-Access Modules

The modules are a self-access introduction to some basic principles of learning, teaching, assessment and evaluation for use:

  • in preparation of your teaching programs.
  • as resources to return to while teaching.

Each Module consists of an Introduction and a Reading.

The Introductions are in form of a worksheet and contain:

  • question for reflection on your own learning experience
  • some learning principles
  • quick tips provided for practical suggestions for some commonly experienced situations.

The Readings are mini-essays based on ideas and experiences of others as recorded in scholarly writings on higher education.

These modules and resources are intended to help you work out your own approaches based on the ideas and experiences of others.
