Library of the Future Report

"Libraries, and more specifically academic libraries, are loved institutions. They are central to our learning and research and staffed by professionals dedicated to free and open access to information".

The Library of the Future report is the result of a project conducted in 2015 to look at the future of the University of Adelaide Libraries over a 20 year period. In particular, the committee looked at how the library can respond to certain change while preserving and enhancing what is valued in academic libraries today.

This report looks broadly at library values and culture, functions, processes, people and spaces, and make both short (1-3 year) and long term recommendations for change.
