The ADT Program at the University of Adelaide

The University of Adelaide Library is a participant in the Australasian Digital Theses (ADT) Program which is building a database of digitised theses produced by higher degree research students in Australian and New Zealand universities. The aim of the program is to provide access to, and promote Australian and New Zealand research to the international community.

From 2007 it is compulsory for all University of Adelaide postgraduate research students to lodge, in addition to the required printed copies, an electronic copy of their thesis.  The electronic copy will be made available on the Web, via the Australasian Digital Thesis Program unless arrangements have been made to restrict access.  The thesis will also be added to the University's digital research repository, Adelaide Research & Scholarship as well as the Library catalogue and will be accessible through web search engines.  This means increased exposure for your hard work, and makes a valuable research resource much more accessible than it would otherwise!   See guidelines for theses authors for detailed instructions on depositing your thesis.

If you submitted your print thesis before 2007, you are invited to lodge an electronic copy of your thesis to ADTP and/or Adelaide Research & Scholarship.  See instructions on depositing your thesis.

For more information, or help with the process, contact Angela Mills or Marie Kozulic, or check the Adelaide University Library Digital Theses web site.
