Intercampus library service
Contents:
- All registered University of Adelaide users, except for reciprocal borrowers from Flinders University and the University of South Australia, may request the delivery of items required for the purposes of study and research, from libraries located on other campuses of the University.
For example, a student based at the Waite Library may request delivery of items from the Roseworthy Campus and any of the North Terrace Campus libraries (Barr Smith, Law, Elder Music); a student at the Law Library may request delivery of items from the Roseworthy Campus and the Waite Library, but not from the Barr Smith Library or the Elder Music Library.- You may request the loan of books, and can order scanned copies of journal articles, that are held in any University of Adelaide campus library.
The following items may not be requested on intercampus loan:- Short loan books
- Reserve collection items
- Current issues of journals
- If an item is readily available on the shelves of its 'home' Library, delivery will normally take three working days.
Journal articles will be emailed direct to the address you nominate on the Intercampus request form. Please check your email before making an enquiry about non-delivery. If we have not notified you about the item after three days from the date you requested it, please email or telephone the supplying library to ask about the status of your request.- Search for the item in the Library Catalogue

- If the status of the item is 'Available' select "Request (incl. Store & Intercampus)"
- If the status of the item is 'On Loan' select "Recall"
- Change the pick up location to the Library where you would like to collect the book (Barr Smith, Waite, Law, etc.)
- A notice will be sent to you when the item is ready for collection
