Wine MarketingA guide to print and electronic sources of information for wine marketing. Updated by Angela Mills How to find information (Library online tutorial)This online tutorial introduces ways of finding information in books, journals, databases and Internet sources on wine marketing.It provides a guide for searching the catalogue, how to effectively search databases for journal articles and the Internet for information. Link to it from here. BooksFew books are published on wine marketing. Students are advised to use general books on marketing theory and technique and combine those principles with wine industry research.Use the Library catalogue to locate books, reports and conference proceedings held at the University of Adelaide. The catalogue will also contain links for fulltext journal articles required for student reading by your lecturer or course coordinator. Useful subject headings in the catalogue to locate books are:

Internal and metropolitan-based external students can request items not held by the Waite Library via the document delivery service. Non-metro external students can utilise the Remote

JournalsJournal and newspaper articles can provide information on market research, company and industry information, statistics, market share and financial information.The following list (not comprehensive) provides links to core journals in wine business. Access to full text from the Library Catalogue is indicated. Publishers web sites are included, however the level of access varies from tables of contents, abstracts of articles, or sometimes fulltext of articles. Please make sure you check the Library catalogue
to determine whether a print copy or electronic access to fulltext is available.
Other fulltext marketing journals are available. Check the Library's catalogue for availability of a journal title. Databases for wine marketingDatabases index journal and newspaper articles, conference proceedings and reports, and in some cases provide fulltext. They are usually searchable by keyword or phrase or combinations of keywords using logical operators such as OR and AND.The articles themselves, if not available in fulltext, may have to be obtained from another library for you - so start your research well before your assignment is due. Access to fulltext electronic journals and databases from outside the
