Indexes and databases for architecture
Published indexes and abstracting services

from
journals, papers given at conferences, and in books. Indexes may
be produced in paper form or in electronic form.
Printed indexes are in the Reference Collection. These
are usually
arranged by subject heading or in broad subject categories, with
indexes
to specific topics.
Electronic databases are available through links from the
Library's
Catalogue where the Library pays a subscriptions to provide staff and
students
with access. You will be asked to authenticate your staus as a
student
or member staff of the University. You will be account name and
password,
for access from outside the Library, use the barcode from your
University
ID card and your last name, for authentication..
To find journal articles on a topic use one or more of the
indexes following. Specialised
indexes and databases are listed first, followed by multidisciplinary
indexes and databases and indexes and
databases
from other disciplines which include issues in the built
environment. Remember
