This also applies if you access resources through your own Internet Service Provider (ISP) from home, or from a workplace.

Some of the University's licence's for databases include a limit on the number of simultaneous users, ranging from 1-8, if you do see a note about access limits try again in about 30 minutes.

Journal article full text may be located by searching for the journal title (not the article title) in the Library Catalogue so that an "electronic resource" record may link you to full text articles on the publishers website.

Where a database does not provide links to full text from an article record the library's Article Linker program enables you to check for Library online subscriptions when you click on Check full text options this may take you direct to a suppliers website or, in some instances, you may see Library access to several other suppliers. Check the years available before clicking on a link.

If the journal title you want is not in the Catalogue and you are either staff or a postgrad student, see the Interlibrary Request web page where you can make upt 50 free requests.

Abbreviated journal titles.

If you have an abbreviated journal title guessing the full title could be a problem. Abbreviated journal titles, are standardized and may be found in print resources in the library, or on the internet by using sites such as Abbreviations.com web site.  If the citation has an ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) you may be able to search by that number.  The Ulrichs International Periodicals database may also help to locate the correct journal.  When you have the correct full journal title, search the Library catalogue.   Please contact your Research Librarian   Bernadine Hardin or the Library Research Help Desk on  83035372 for further assistance.

Journal Info this site is provided by Lund University Libraries.
