Centre
This page provides information about, and links to, sources of
information
available in and through the Library, electronically or in print form,
in support of ECIC Courses.
Some of you are working from Adelaide, while others are working
remotely,
but you are all entitled to the services the Library provides. The
Library offers a number of specialised services
to remote users and for those studying part-time we provide as much
access
out-of-office hours as the budget allows.
Most of the services can be accessed from your computer where you
have an internet link.
From the icons across the top of the
Library home page go to the Library
Catalogue or to the Resource Guides
for links to the appropriate sites.
Some electronic sites may be free, but many are purchased by the
Library, in which case you will be asked for authentication of your
status as one of our students. The authentication box requires
you to use your student
number and student PIN.
Print resources may be also be available in a library near you, most
libraries now provide electronic access to their catalogues.
The University
Library Australia is a national scheme which enables you to
register
as a borrower at other university libraries.
A reciprocal borrowing agreement in South Australia allows university
students
to borrow from any of the three University libraries using their
student card.
A new feature of the Catalogue allows searching
across two or all three of the library catalogues for these Universities.
