Dewey Decimal Classification for Petroleum Engineering
& Management
The following table indicates the range of Dewey Decimal Classification
numbers used for books and journals on petroleum engineering and related
topics in the Barr Smith Library. This list is not complete, but
shows the main Dewey classes and demonstrates the subdivisions that can
be created.
Most books and journals are in the Main Collection, extending over
Levels 1 and 2, in one sequence of Call Numbers. Some very large books
and journals will be in the Oversize Collection, Level 2, North; also some
older material has been transfered to the Joint Store.
Please check the Catalogue to find the Collection and exact Call Number
when you want a particular title. If you have any queries please
