- American Society for Testing and Materials
- The web site has a searchable index to ASTM standards.
- The printed Annual Book of ASTM standards contains the full text of ASTM standards and is in the BSL Reference collection at 620.106 A5.
- American Society of Mechanical Engineers
- Has a searchable catalogue of its codes and standards.
- American National Standards
Institute
- Includes ANSI services and news and a searchable catalogue of ANSI standards.
- National Institute of Standards

- Includes NIST news and programs.
