Newspapers on the InternetInternational news online A select listing to online newspapers, particularly for international students at the University of Adelaide. Google News Archive "provides an easy way to search and explore historical archives" of selected newspapers online. News archive search can also automatically create timelines, showing selected results from relevant time periods. This service was launched in September 2008. DailyEarth: the global newspaper directory : organized by US and country list. "Search for news articles, blogs and podcasts" Newseum: daily front pages of contributing newspapers (mainly US papers); some of these pages are archived. world-newspapers.com Provides country-by-country access to "World Newspapers, Magazines, and News Sites in English" NewsVoyager, "a gateway to your local newspapers" by the Newspaper Association of America (NAA) and gives links to newspaper websites around the world. Australian newspapers online A list produced by the National Library of Australia. onlinenewspapers.com maintains an extensive listing of online newspapers, divided by country of publication and title. Newspaper indexesFor University of Adelaide staff and students, Factiva and Electric Library give access to a large range of full-text international and Australian newspapers. You can do subject searches and retrieve articles from newspapers by using keywords eg. "sydney olympics".Factiva Provides access to global news and business information, including full text coverage of Australian newspapers, same-day news wires, and company reports. Note: Does not include the Australian Financial Review or BRW (Business Review Weekly). eLibrary Australasia Includes a large amount of general news material in full-text, including Australian newspapers. Australia/New Zealand Reference Centre This resource provides access to many Australian and New Zealand newspapers in full text. APA-FT (Australian public affairs - full text) Selected Australian newspaper articles are indexed in this database, mainly in the fields of business, health, current affairs, economics, humanities, law, literature, politics and social sciences. Newspaper Source Newspaper Source provides selected full text for U.S. regional, national and international newspapers. News servicesA portal to online news sources from around the world. It is primarily composed of newspapers but also includes many broadcast stations, internet services, magazines, and press agencies. Google News searches and browses 4,500 news sources, updated continuously. Includes a News archive search option and video clips. Online services of major national broadcasters such as ABC Online News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) CNN Interactive, and BBC Online continually update current stories and include audio and videoclips relating to selected major stories.
