Newspapers on the InternetDailyEarth: the global newspaper directory : organized by US and country list. "Search for news articles, blogs and podcasts" world-newspapers.com has been cited in the American Library Association's 2002 list of "Best free reference websites" It provides country-by-country access to "World Newspapers, Magazines, and News Sites in English" NewsVoyager, "a gateway to your local newspapers" is provided; by the Newspaper Association of America (NAA) and gives links to newspaper websites around the world. The site includes a; map for locating newspapers by geographical area, and drop-down; menus giving access to a range of sites (including International newspapers, Weekly newspapers, College newspapers, Newspaper archives, groups and associations.) A list produced by the National Library of Australia. Online
newspapers maintains an extensive listing of online
newspapers, divided by country of publication and title. Newspaper indexesFor University of Adelaide staff and students, Factiva and Electric Library give access to a large range of full-text international and Australian newspapers. You can do subject searches and retrieve articles from newspapers by using keywords eg. "sydney olympics".Factiva provides access to global news and business information,
including full text coverage of Australian "From 1st April 2007, Fairfax will remove all AFR (Australian Financial Review) and BRW (Business Review weekly) content from Factiva. More information here."
Elibrary (Electric Library Australasia) Factiva is supplemented by ELibrary - a resource which
includes a large amount of general news material in full-text,
including the Australian newspapers published by News Corp (such as
The Australian and The Advertiser.) Australia/New Zealand Reference Centre This resource provides access to many Australian and New Zealand
newspapers in full text, including News Ltd. publications. APA-FT (Australian public affairs - full text) Selected Australian newspaper articles are indexed in
this database, mainly in the fields of "business, health,
current affairs, Newspaper Source provides selected full text for 25 regional,
national (U.S.) and international newspapers. In addition, full
text television & radio news transcripts are provided from CBS
News, FOX News, NPR. Printed indexes

Online services of major national broadcasters such as ABC Online News (Australian
Broadcasting Corporation) CNN
Interactive, and BBC
Online continually update current stories and include audio and
videoclips relating to selected major stories. CNN Europe offers excellent coverage
of regional issues (in English, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian,
Danish, and Spanish.) There are also a number of printed news and current affairs
digests in the Reference collection:
Media guidesMedia guides give comprehensive listings of worldwide newspapers; entries usually include details such as contact addresses, web sites, frequency and format of publication, date first established etc.
