Bibliography of Asian studies 1971- also at Reference Collection 950.05 B582 The most comprehensive coverage of articles and essays in Asian studies. Not many extra features, no full text, but best for scholarly coverage.
China academic journals full-text database = Zhongguo qi kan quan wen shu ju ku = \xE4\xB8\xAD国期刊全文数据库 A comprehensive, full-text database of mostly Chinese language journals. It contains more than 7,200 journals starting from 1915, sourced from core journals and speciality journals from mainland China.
Academic OneFile Contains more than 12,000 academic journals, the majority peer-reviewed and in full text, available in HTML and PDF formats Coverage 1980-
Academic Search Premier Contains indexing and abstracts for more than 8,300 journals, with full text for more than 4,500 of those titles.
JSTOR A full text library of journals from their first issues to 3-5 years ago. NOT suitable for current topics.
Project Muse gives access to University Press and other scholarly electronic journals in the social sciences, humanities etc from the mid 1990's onwards. China is well covered.
Web of science citation database 1980- Much more than science! Includes the Social Sciences citation index and the Arts and Humanities citation index.
Periodicals index online a database of millions of article citations published in the arts, humanities and social sciences, across more than 300 years. Some full text available via Periodicals Archive Online.

Dictionaries in specific subject areas will be found in the Reference collection with the subject. eg 610.3 for medicine, 570.3 for biology, 332.03 for banking, 340.03 for law etc.

中文资料查询 - locating texts in Chinese
In the Library Catalogue in either Basic Search or Guided Keyword Search screen click on the "More Limits" tab on the right hand side of screen. Select "Chinese" then select "Set Limits". Now when you search you will only retrieve Chinese language material.
The library has a selection of Australian literature translated into Chinese. A brochure entitled Some Australian Novels and Other Literature, in Chinese Translation lists the texts. You can find the brochure here.
