1. Is there any justification in the art and architecture of the Minoans and the Mycenaeans for characterizing the Minoans as more peaceful, nature-loving or frivolous than the Mycenaeans?
2. What factors, in your view, brought about the decline of the Late Geometric style and led to the development of a new style of vase decoration?
3. Describe the layout of a typical Doric and a typical Ionic temple of the Archaic period, and explain (with specific examples) how sculpture was used to adorn the different parts.
