CURATORIAL AND MUSEUM STUDIES

This is a guide to library and information resources for the
Masters in Curatorial and Museum Studies,
which has been developed jointly by the
Discipline of History at the University of Adelaide
and the Art Gallery of South Australia.

For resources on specific types of art, see the resource guides listed in the
Graduate Studies in Art History resource guide.

You may need to consult other libraries, especially that of the University of South Australia.
Our web page provides a gateway to other libraries' catalogues, which includes access to the National Bibliographic database, Libraries Australia, with holdings from libraries all over Australia.
Journals not held by the BSL can be located on the database:
Serials in Australian Libraries (SIAL),
where any location beginning with an S is a South Australian location.

The Library of the Art Gallery of South Australia has good collections on museum and curatorial techniques, but should be consulted as a last resort.

For any further help in finding or using these resources please visit or contact your
Research Librarian for History,
