THE TWENTIETH CENTURY:
A WORLD IN TURMOIL

This guide is designed to help you find for yourself some books and articles that will assist you in writing your second essay.

Some resources are electronic, which you can access from anywhere. Printed (hardcopy) books will need to be followed up in the library, using call numbers.
If books are in high demand, using the REQUEST button will shorten the loan period to one week and help to share the resources around.
Journal articles are also a good alternative when books are hard to borrow.

We are assuming that you have completed the Library tutorial for Humanities and Social Sciences .

For any further help in finding or using these resources please come in to see or contact your
Research Librarians for History and Politics,
Margaret Hosking, ph. 83033706
Peter Newnham, ph. 83131062

Our office is on level 2, in the wedge between the 800's and the 900's.
Reference collection is on level 2 north, in the foyer outside the Barr Smith Reading Room.
