The Barr Smith Library has very extensive collections on this period of European history, including microfilm copies of all books published in English 1473-1700.
Add the word EARLY WORKS TO 1800 to your search - this will lead you to the microfilms of Early English Books.

For other primary documents, add the word SOURCES to your search.

Archive of early American images is drawn entirely from the holdings of the John Carter Brown Library, located at Brown University since 1901. The Library houses one of the world’s outstanding collections of books, maps, and manuscripts relating to the colonial period of the Americas, North and South, from 1492 to ca. 1825.

This database is being published in five sections between 2003 and 2007
offering over 60,000 images of original manuscripts and printed material
linked to essays by leading scholars in the field of Empire Studies with
hypertext links which to the documentary evidence provided. Covers Africa,
the Americas, Australasia, Oceania and South Asia. can be searched by names,
topics and places.

Reformation, Dr Hans Rollmann, Memorial University of Newfoundland

Le Poulet Gauche website offers a non-academic introduction to various aspects sixteenth-century French history. Not scholarly, but it is rather fun and has a very good bibliography.

Survey of Scottish Witchcraft: 1563-1736 - database of Scottish witchcraft trials, compiled by eminent experts in the field, led by Julian Goodare of Edinburgh University and contains data from over 4,000 trials for witchcraft.

Witchcraft, demonology and the Inquisition an online exhibition of rare books and pamphlets on the subject of witchcraft, demonology and the occult. It also contains much information on the inquisition, prophecy, and grimoires. Published by the Rare Book Library, University of Sydney, it was compiled by Suzana Sukovic and Neil Boness.
