Media resources
This guide will help you with research in Media topics. I have identified the best electronic indexes you should use to find journal articles on your topic and have created a comprehensive series of web pages on research skills - showing you how to get the best results from these indexes. As well, I explain how to use the Library Catalogue to find relevant books on media subjects, and how to search the web effectively.
Also on my site you'll find pages with helpful tips and techniques on essay writing and thesis preparation, including referencing and creating a bibliography.
In the Contents table below there are links to individual pages dealing with specific media topics, each with carefully selected, annotated links to the most useful web-based and Library resources on that topic. As well as links to web pages, I have provided links to printed and multimedia resources that are available in the Barr Smith Library.
The Media resources guide is intended as a one-stop shop for students and staff of the University of Adelaide's Bachelor of Media program.

A note about navigation
The easiest way to find your way around the resources on my Media site is to use the Back and Forward buttons on your browser.
I've also built in a clickable icon to get back to the Table of contents on this welcome page.
You'll see this at the bottom of every page on the Media resources website:
Simply click on the image or the text to get back to my Media website.
