- Website for an 'initiative aimed at helping to enable and encourage grassroots media, especially citizen journalism.' Features updates and analyses of current news, description of projects including 'Principles of Citizen Journalism' (such as accuracy, fairness, and independence) and a law project, and a blog. The nonprofit center is affiliated with the Graduate School of Journalism, University of California, Berkeley, and the Berkman Center for Internet and Society, Harvard Law School.

- Australian Centre for Independent Journalism
- The Centre aims to stimulate the production of high quality journalism, especially investigative journalism; to conduct and support research into journalism and the media; to contribute to scholarly debate and research about journalism; and to promote community discussion about the relationship of journalism to political, social and cultural democracy. The Centre is a non-profit organisation based at the Broadway campus of the University of Technology, Sydney.
Activities of the Centre include the publication of investigative journalism; provision of resources and reference services; continuing education for practising journalists and research in journalism, and contributions to debates on areas of concern to journalists.

Print material
To find books on journalism in the Library look up the Library Catalogue using the Subject Heading Journalism.
There are lots of books listed under different subheadings of Journalism. For example, Journalism -- Australia, as well as journalism in many other countries. Other subheadings will show you what books the Library has on various aspects of journalism such as Journalism -- Political aspects, Journalism -- Social aspects, Journalism -- Objectivity, and so on.
You'll find even more if you search under the Subject Headings Journalistic ethics and Journalists.
Journals
The Library subscribes to a number of journals on journalism (great phrase, that!!). You'll find that some of them will be available as online journals and some will be in print (that is, paper) format. You'll also find that many journals will be in both online and print format, the usual pattern being that older issues will be in paper and later issues will be available online. To find out what journals we have, just search the Library Catalogue under the Subject Heading Journalism Periodicals.
