Code of Practice - Radio
The Broadcasting Services Act 1992 includes legislative requirements for all broadcasting services, including temporary and fully licenced community broadcasters. One of these requirements is the Codes of Practice, a document of self-regulation for each broadcasting sector in Australia.

Print material

To find books on radio in the Library look up the Library Catalogue using the Subject Heading Radio broadcasting.
There are lots of books listed under different subheadings of Radio; try Radio advertising, Radio audiences, Radio broadcasters, Radio journalism, Radio production and direction, Radio programs, Radio stations, and so on.

Reference works

A very useful dictionary of radio terminology is the International dictionary of broadcasting and film edited by Desi K. Bognaar, 2nd ed, 2000.

Our own Radio Adelaide training manual is an essential reference. You'll find the latest edition in the Reserve collection.
