Library PubMed & EndNote Tutorial
Introduction to PubMed
PubMed is a database of citations to more than
19 million journal articles from over 4,600 of the world's most significant
health sciences journals. These PubMed citations to articles come from
journals in the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine,
health care systems, and the life sciences.
PubMed
incorporates Medline but is more up to date than Medline. PubMed is freely available on the internet.
It contains citations to articles that have been indexed by experts, plus
more recent articles that are awaiting indexing. The database is updated
weekly. The University of Adelaide Library has a customized version of
PubMed that provides direct links to some Uni of Adelaide electronic journals.
You can use this version of PubMed by finding it on
The Library Home

Graphics with red borders show what you should see on your screen. They are not 'live' windows and will not respond to clicking or typing.
