Books (and Other Resources) By or About People with a Mental IllnessLast update: 1 November 2012, I have chosen the resources below because, whether they are fictional or biographical, they give an insight into the lived experience of mental illness. The Library holds many fictional and biographical accounts of mental illness. A selection is listed below (in alphabetical order by title). Further down the page you will find some web sites which describe people's experience of various mental illnesses.
