The Dementia Series | Education Service Provider for Health Practitioners: Rural Health Education Foundation
The Australian Government has funded the Rural Health Education Foundation to produce a series of educational television broadcasts to assist GPs, geriatricians, aged care workers and other primary healthcare professionals across all settings to better understand and deliver quality care and support to people living with dementia, their carers and families. Podcasts of the programs can be downloaded. You will need to register, but there is no cost.

Mental Health Foundation, October 2011. The Baring Foundation commissioned this review to provide evidence about the benefits of art activities and to support arts organisations to improve their work. Thirty one studies are included, six of which deal with people with dementia.
Faculty of the Psychiatry of Old Age -The Day Hospital Network
The network was set up by the Faculty of Old Age Psychiatry of the
Royal College of Psychiatrists as a consequence of the findings of
the national survey of day hospitals specialising in older people
with mental health problems. A particularly useful feature of this
site is the section which provides examples of good practice.

Forget Me Not 2002: Developing Mental Health Services for Older

Published in January 2000, Forget Me Not, set out the Audit Commission's analysis of
mental health services for older people in England and Wales. Since
then auditors appointed by the Commission have been carrying out
local audits of these services. This report summarises the main
findings from audits in England.

These e-learning resources are suitable for social work students, social workers, social work support staff, care home staff, home care workers, health/social care workers who deliver long term care in community or institutional settings, voluntary workers and older people themselves. You will need to register to use them, but they are provided free of charge by the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) in the U.K.
