3. How do you request an item that is on loan to someone else?

4. Can you borrow a Reserve collection item for longer than three hours?

5. Which Library computers can you use to write an essay?

6. How many books can you borrow at one time? How many demerit points do you incur for late return?

7. Within the Library you cannot charge printing to your University print allocation so how do you print from the Internet, Library catalogue etc?

ANSWERS

The Library's home page also leads to the catalogue, databases, and other reference sources used for finding books, journal articles etc.

Passwords

When you use electronic resources you'll sometimes be asked for a username and password. You username will be your student ID,  preceded by the letter a (e.g. a246891). Your password will be your University password which appears initially on your confirmation of enrolment.

Use of electronic databases, journals, and other web resources may be charged to your Internet Allocation , so always make sure you exit fully from the web browser on Library and University computers. If you don't, any subsequent external network use on that computer by someone else will be charged to your allocation.
