Orientation and Library Tours

Barr Smith Library

As part of the University's Orientation Week, the Barr Smith Library combined with Hub Central provides orientation sessions for new students. The 1 hour session includes a tour of Hub Central, a tour of the Library facilities and an introduction to finding library resources. There are also sessions at the start of second semester.

Throughout the academic year, the Barr Smith Library offers 30 minute tours every Friday @12:00 for staff, students and members of the public - meet just inside the entrance to the library.  For other times you can book a tour with Lucy Zuzolo, phone 8313 1060.

Elder Music Library

The Elder Music Library will run orientation sessions on Thursday 23 Feb and Friday 24 Feb at 12 noon during O'Week. Sessions will be held in the Hartley Concert Room (immediately above the Music Library) followed by a tour of the Music Library.

Throughout the academic year, orientation tours are offered on demand.  Please ask at the desk or phone 8313 3685.

Law Library

During Orientation Week, morning and afternoon tours of the Law Library are available Monday to Friday. Sessions run for 30 minutes.

Roseworthy Campus Library and Waite Library

In Orientation Week the Libraries run orientation sessions for new students. Sessions are organised with lecturers and also advertised in each Library.

Throughout the academic year, the Waite Library offers orientation tours every Friday morning at 11.00am for students and staff. Bookings are not required and other times can be arranged. Please ask at the desk or phone 8313 7312.

In the Roseworthy Campus Library, tours are offered on demand to students and staff. Please ask at the desk or phone 8313 7844.
