Borrowing
Staff
Library membership for college staff is provided at the discretion of Bradford College. Eligible staff have the same membership as University of Adelaide staff.
Students
College students can borrow books from the Barr Smith Library's main collection and the Reserve and Multimedia collection. You can also borrow from the other University of Adelaide libraries but there may be some restrictions.
You may borrow up to thirty books at any one time. The usual loan period is four weeks but you may renew a loan up to four times if nobody is waiting to use the book. Make sure you return your books on time - that way you'll avoid demerit points.
Please remember that if you lose or damage an item you will have to pay for the replacement costs, including a non-refundable handling fee of $30.
Finding the Barr Smith Library
The Library is centrally located on the University of Adelaide's North Terrace campus. If you're not sure how to find us, just look for location F8 on the North Terrace campus map.
